Make Your Own Glass Ornaments

Then add a visit to Vetro Glass Blowing Studio in Grapevine to your holiday to-do list. Vetro is currently offering a wonderful opportunity for you to come into their studio to make your own glass ornaments. There are two options available – the Traditional Help Create Your Own Ornament Experience for $25 or the Extreme Ornament Making Blowout for $45. Either option will be an experience you won’t forget and the next day you will have a special one-of-a-kind glass ornament that you helped to create.

Option 1: TRADITIONAL HELP-CREATE-ORNAMENT EXPERIENCE You can choose from three color mixes, help apply those colors yourself, then watch the artist finish creating your ornament before your very eyes.   First-come, first-serve (no reservations taken).   Cost is $25 per ornament Dates available: Through Dec 15

• Saturdays: 2pm “ 7pm
• Sundays: 12pm “ 5pm

Dec 16 “ Dec 21

• Daily: 12pm “ 8pm

Option 2: EXTREME ORNAMENT MAKING BLOWOUT You select colors from the entire color palette of glass.     You apply the colors to the hot molten glass gather.   You heat the colors in the 2,000 degree furnace (14+ yrs).   You stay by the artist while he/she blows out the ornament and adds a glass hook.   Prepaid, online reservations required. Cost is $45 per ornament.     Cancellation policy: We must be notified by 10am the day BEFORE your reservation. A Processing Fee of $5 will be deducted from your   refund. Notifications after 10am the day before and no-shows are non-refundable. Alcohol consumption is prohibited while working with the   glass; intoxicated customers will be canceled without refund. Important Details: Your ornament(s) will need about 24 hours to cool to room temperature. You may return on the following business day after 3pm to pick up or you may elect to conveniently have us ship your ornament(s) for an additional charge.   Ornaments will not be ready before 3pm the following day.   Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
