She Is Dallas Info: Pirate Days of Texas will take place rain or shine on October 15th and 16th at Lafitte’s Treasure Cove, Stewart Creek Park on Lake Lewisville, 3700 Sparks Road in The Colony,.   Gates open Saturday from 10:00am ~ 11:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am ~ 6:00pm.  Ticket prices are Adult $8.00 ages 13 and over, Child $4.00 ages 4 to 12, 3 and under FREE.   You can purchase your tickets online.   Parking is Free. Check out the Seawolf!   As one of the only traveling pirate ships in the country, the Seawolf was designed as a 1/4 scale replica of a sailing galleon (not counting height of course!) and offers historical tours and interactive examples of ship activities allowing patrons to tour the ship station by station and learn what life was like aboard a ship and as a sailor. We are also proud to announce that the SeaWolf comes fully equiped with firing cannons that are safe for children. Have fun on a   Geocache Adventure! Of course, the Kid Zone was a big hit.   There were bounce houses, a petting zoo, face painting, crafts, games, a giant sandbox, and lots of fun. pirate kid There are plenty of food vendors to choose from but our favorite, of course, was the funnel cake!   But you can also plan to have Pancakes with Pirates on Saturday from 9am to noon. 100% of proceeds going to The Storehouse Pantry a ministry of Horizons church. Adults $5 and children $3 in the dining tent. Pirate Days of Texas is proud to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas with a portion of the proceeds benefiting this great organization.   The sole purpose of the Make-A-Wish Foundation ® of North Texas is to grant the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions, in order to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. They want to provide children with the hope for better times, the strength for the tough times and the joy to experience the present.   The Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas has granted more than 4,000 wishes since our inception in 1982. This chapter covers 106 counties. With increasing public awareness, they are granting more and more wishes in our outlying areas and expect to grant more than 500 each year.
