Science is so cool and it’s incredible to see what the rest of the universe looks like.
If you or your kids like space, you need to pay attention to things today because NASA is releasing new images of stars and galaxies and they are breathtaking!
For the first time in decades, we finally get to see the first images taken by the most powerful space telescope ever — the James Webb Space Telescope.
Yesterday, The James Webb Space Telescope’s first deep field view was shared.
In the image above, it shows SMACS 0723, where a massive group of galaxy clusters act as a magnifying glass for the objects behind them, including faint, distant galaxies.
According to NASA it is:
“The deepest and sharpest infrared image of the distant universe to date,”
Isn’t it just amazing?!
And today, we are getting to see more images of the galaxy and beyond!
Space is incredible and so beautiful.
You can watch the live-stream of the event from NASA in the video below including all of the new images they shared!
