The Women’s Chorus of Dallas began in 1989 with just 35 members. It has since grown to over 100 very talented women. Butterfly Packages are $25 and include a butterfly plant for you to take home, among other goodies. All museum patrons receive free parking at Fair Park, so be sure to tell the attendant that you are going to Texas Discovery Gardens. The next concert for The Women’s Chorus of Dallas will be called Peace & Harmony and will take place on Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the AT&T Performing Art Center's Dee & Charles Wyly Theater. The Women’s Chorus of Dallas celebrates Mothers Day with a special concert called Nature & Nuture at the Texas Discovery Gardens. The concert will last one hour and will be performed indoors in the conservatory with a beautiful garden scenery to honor Mother Nature and all of the mothers that we love.
The concert’s magical finale will have the chorus singing as patrons participate in a live butterfly release.
