How to Organize School Supplies

Never fear!   We have been scouring the internet for our favorite ways to:

Organize for School

School Closet – This closet is jammed packed with three boys’ books, backpacks, papers, and everything needed for the classroom.   Check out how it is organized for school, yet when homework time is over the door can be shut.

School Supply Closet – This clear shoe organizer is re-purposed for the perfect place to house crayons, pencils, paint, glue, scissors and more!   I love how Jamie used ordinary items transforming them into extraordinary storage.

Back to School Organization

Classroom Organization – Under the Alphabet Tree shows how an entire classroom is organized and ready for the start of school.

Homework Organization – I loved the homework caddy in this post which has tons of back to school tidiness advice from Apple Valley Girl.   There is NO way any of her kids’ homework is showing up late.

Organize School Supplies

School Supply Gift – This idea comes from Giver’s Log as an idea for a gift {great idea}, but we think that it could also be a really cute way to upcycle a water bottle.

Pencil Box Gift – Again, this idea is packaged as a gift, but it is a precious pencil box that causes my heart to yearn for schooldays.   This lovely idea is from Whipperberry.

Pencil Case Tutorial – The MOST precious pencil case tutorial can be found over at Sew 4 Home.   It almost makes me want to run out and learn how to sew.

Customized Binders – School supplies should NOT be boring!   This article shows various DIY notebook and binder updates that you can do with your kids.

Don’t forget the teacher!

Each year our school sends home some suggested items that are sure to run out in classrooms.   At the TOP of that list is Kleenex.   In fact, one teacher mentioned that during several months of the year, her classroom may go through a box every few days.

Thanks to Kleenex, you can provide that classroom necessity at a discount.   Click here for a Kleenex coupon and head to the store to stock up.   Sending a box of the Kleenex on-the-go packs in your child’s backpack is always a good backup plan.
