Every year, we embrace so many Christmas Traditions. Stocking Stuffers for Kids are a fun part of our family’s traditions, every year! They have been since my mom was a little girl!

Times have certainly changed, but the delight about pulling so many fun things from a stocking has not.

A stocking stuffer is a small gift that goes into a stocking! These gifts can be anything from fruits, to Christmas candies, to toys! Christmas candies in stockings go over well every year, in my house! Often, I also go the small toy route! I also usually put a new watch in our stockings, each year. That fun Christmas tradition comes from my husband’s grandma!

What makes a stocking stuffer great, is it is usually several small, affordable things. I usually will buy toys from within a set for each child, to encourage them to play together. Great stocking stuffers are different, for every child. What makes them most special, is being part of a tradition.

At the top of each stocking, every year, is a new ornament, in our house. We love giving everyone a brand new ornament to hang on the tree. This way, each year, the tree becomes more and more special to them! The ornaments are always all part of a set, so we can see the theme from each passed year, on the tree! This year I’m buying each of us an Old World Christmas ornament.

You can really find Stocking Stuffers anywhere! Normally, I would get a fair few from the bargain area at Target. In 2020, though, I am going to stick with online shopping. Amazon is my preferred online retailer, for this kind of thing, because the shipping is so quick!
