INGREDIENTS for Savory Slow Cooker Spare Ribs Recipe
- 1 (10.75) can of condensed tomato soup
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 T brown sugar
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- 2T soy sauce
- 2 lb. pork spareribs
- 1 t cornstarch
- 1/4 cup cold water
Savory Slow Cooker Spare Ribs Recipe Instructions
Step 1
Place ribs in a large stockpot and cover with water. Bring to a boil on the stove and cook for 15 minutes.
Step 2
In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the tomato soup, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, & Worcestershire sauce.
Step 3
Remove ribs from water & drain. Put them in your crockpot. Pour the sauce over the ribs.
Step 4
Cover & cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or until ribs are tender.
Step 5
If your sauce is too thin after cooking, pour it into a saucepan. Combine 1 t cornstarch with a small amount of cold water, stir into sauce, & bring to a boil. Cook this until the sauce is thickened. Or, do what I do, and throw in some store-bought BBQ sauce when serving and call it a day.
