One of my favorite ways to make dinner is in the Crock Pot! These Slow Cooker Spare Ribs are tender & excellent as leftovers on top of a baked potato.
INGREDIENTS:
1 (10.75) can condensed tomato soup
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 T brown sugar
1 T Worcestershire sauce
2T soy sauce
2 lb. pork spareribs
1 t cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
WHAT TO DO:
*Place ribs in a large stock pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil on the stove and cook for 15 minutes.
*In a medium mixing bowl, mix together the tomato soup, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, & Worcestershire sauce.
*Remove ribs from water & drain. Put them in your crock pot. Pour the sauce over the ribs.
*Cover & cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or until ribs are tender.
*If your sauce is too thin after cooking, pour it into a sauce pan. combine 1 t cornstarch with a small amount of cold water, stir into sauce, & bring to a boil. Cook this until the sauce is thickened.
Or, do what I do, and throw in some store-bought BBQ sauce when serving and call it a day.
