I got a fancy new camera for last Christmas.
It is something that I had been wishing for and drooling over for quite some time.
My husband played Santa and after consulting with a very wise friend, chose just the perfect SLR camera for me.
Up until then I was taking 1000s of pictures a month with my little point-and-shoot. It was something that was ALWAYS in my pocket or tucked into my purse.
The one thing that you don’t really think about when you are dreaming of a big fancy camera is the fact that it is fancy…and BIG.
It took some serious getting used to toting a larger camera around. We went to the camera store and picked out a camera bag. Actually, we went to the camera store and eliminated all the hideous looking camera bags and settled on the one that I hated the least.
Why can’t they make them pretty?
A few months later I met a girl who saw the same problem, but actually did something about it. My friend Maile Wilson created a stylish camera bag that looks like a great bag. She runs
Epiphanie Bags.
I now own two.
They are THAT great.
She was sweet enough to let me give one away over at June Cleaver Nirvana.
