Let’s look at the top baby names of the decade…the last 10 years (for those of you who fell asleep in vocabulary class). Naming your new baby is one of the hardest decisions you will ever make. The good news is that literally hundreds of millions of people have done this to look to for advice.

I guess this would make this information (the top baby names in the last 10 years) some of the best research for your choice going forward and naming that baby! When you look back on the past decade you probably have so many memories (both good and bad). This time, we are taking a look back on The Top Baby Names of The Decade.
Personally, I always find these baby lists fun even though I am finished having babies! It is fun to see if my children’s names made the list or if I fall out of the popular “vote”.

How are Top Baby Names Calculated?
The Social Security Administration posted a list of the top baby names of the decade (from 2010 – 2018) and it is worth checking the names out below.
Obviously this means they were the most used baby names each year in the United States. It would be interesting to compare the top US baby names to other countries!
These most popular baby names are in order from most popular to least popular of the decade and are separated by boy baby names and girl baby names based on birth certificate sex reporting.
The data they used to find the most popular baby names comes from over 20 million male births and over 19 million female baby births. That is a lot of baby names!
