Kids Meme: It’s Playtime

Every week on Wednesday afternoons we host a kids meme called “It’s Play Time”.  Hundreds of fun ideas of ways you can play with and enjoy your kids are featured each week from bloggers around the world.  Below are some of my favorite posts that were recently linked up.

Make time to play.

At the kids craft blog Share and Remember, they created a DIY peg board, great for teaching kids geometric shapes and angles.

This corsage is super simple for kids to make!  Frog, Goose and Bear made a bracelet with duct tape (sticky side out) then attached their finds to the band – genius!

Paint by moving magnets is a fun kids game and activity, by Joyfully Weary.  I just love the expression on her son’s face as he figures it out!

Use CDs and objects to explore color with a light table – Great fun play time with kids from Happy Hooligans.

Sometimes the simple pleasures are the best!  These straw rockets remind me of a high-school cafeteria.  Great childhood memories!  Thanks Tinkerlab for reminding me to enjoy these with our kids.

Moms throughout the ages have given a LOT of advice.

I remember when I was in grade school my mom started exercising and drinking 8 glasses of water a day.  I can still picture that blue semi-opaque glass that was perpetually by the sink.

Drink more water!

We are excited to be a part of Mom's Pure Wisdom on Nestle Pure Life Facebook Page.

Stop by and share some mom wisdom {or see what other moms recommend}.

Go!  I am a mom and I say so :).
