This craft only requires basic, inexpensive craft supplies. Paper flower pots can be found at most craft stores and are usually less than $1.00. To make this craft, you will need:

Paper flower pot
Orange paint
Paint brush
Black construction paper
Glue stick
Scissors and paper punches (optional)
Candy
Black twine or yarn

First, invite children to paint the paper flower pot orange. We used acrylic paint, but tempera paint will work as well.
