So, cooking is not really my thing. There are actually a lot of domestic responsibilities that are quite strained for me, but cooking is probably the most obvious. Obvious to my husband. Obvious to the kids. Obvious to all.
It just doesn’t really appeal to me much. Spending an hour in a hot kitchen boiling and simmering and frying and such. Then there are dishes. I think I hate washing dishes more than I hate cooking. I’d just rather order in or drive thru. That being said, I feel a domestic obligation to feed my family. And, I feel an obligation to feed them something that is less processed than fast-food and less expensive than daily takeout.
About a year ago, my grandmother made a fantastic pulled pork recipe that I fell in love with.
When I found out that it was super-easy, I was head-over-heels. Now, my family gets it once a month. If we have friends or family over for holiday, that is what they can expect. It is good. And it is easy. So easy, that even I cannot screw it up. So I present to you Pulled Pork by Shauna by my Grandmother by McCormicks. It’s actually so easy that it fits on the back of the McCormick’s Pulled Pork package.
STEP 1) Go to your local grocery store and get a package of McCormick’s Slow Cookers BBQ Pulled Pork
STEP 2) Get the ingredients that are listed on the back of the package. You can also find them list on the McCormicks Recipes Website.
STEP 3) Put it all in your crock pot and let it sit there all day. Don’t do anything else with it. This is my favorite part.
STEP 4) Serve it to your family with pride. Maybe even pretend that you made the recipe up from scratch.
