She Is Dallas info: The 3rd Annual Dallas Kids Expo will take place on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm at Dallas Market Hall, 2200 N. Stemmons Fwy., Dallas, TX 75207. General Admission – Adults: $5 online pre-sale, $7 at the door. Kids (12 and under): $1 or FREE with a jar of peanut butter.   Parking is free. A portion of the proceeds benefit North Texas Food Bank. • All Aboard with Thomas and Friends – Thomas & Friends(tm) are pulling into the station. Don't miss the opportunity to meet this Really Useful Engine and get your photo taken. Join Thomas and Driver Sam on a fun-filled, sing along adventure by helping Thomas find his way from Tidmouth Sheds to Knapford Station using teamwork, friendship and discovery! Show Times: 11am, 2pm. Meet and Greet Times: 12pm, 3pm.
• Petting Zoo – Ponies and Pals is bringing a real live Petting Zoo! The petting zoo family includes miniature goats, rabbits, pot bellied pigs, miniature horses, miniature zebu cows, a scottish highlander cow, miniature donkeys, Lamar the llama, and Lance the Lemur! Don't miss this opportunity to meet some of our furry friends.
• Gymboree – Interactive parachute times filled with fantastic bubbles, songs, and activities designed for babies, toddlers and preschoolers. We will also feature a toddler size foam obstacle course to stimulate your child's physical development.
• Bounces Houses from Space Walk.
• Crafts – Join Around Town Kids and North Texas Kids magazine for some crafty, flower-y fun! We will make tissue paper flowers, color, do puzzles, foam crafts and more spring fun. Come create a colorful spring garden with us!
• Info session – Food Made By Kids That Parents Will Eat.   Chef Scott Blakenship from the Tower Club of Dallas will demonstrate healthy cooking tips for kids and families. Look at the schedule of events to find out when he will chop up some veggies!
• Info session – Is My Child Ready For Camp? Join other parents who are looking for answers to these and other questions: Should I send my child to camp? Is my child too young for camp? Are all camps sleep-over camps? How do I find the right camp? Are there any resources to help our family with this decision? Session hosted by a past American Camp Association (ACA) president.
• Info session – Stop Internet Predators. Come to this session and learn how to use privacy controls on social media sites, turn off location information embedded in online pictures, protect your child from cyberbullying, and gain other tips for parenting in the digital age.
