…and for those nights when you wish you could indulge in the bubbly – try this less-guilty alternative: Wait! Don’t forget Santa! Why not replace the stale cookies with these smooth treats? The Chocolate Apothecary also has a wonderful hot drink bar – all sorts of coffee, tea and of course, hot chocolate.   In the back of the store are large tables that are perfect for meeting a friend (even if the kids are along). Here is a little tour that I found on YouTube: It really is a sweet place!

  1. Since I first posted my comment over a year ago, we have come to Chocolate Apothecary (my 6 year old son & I) many times! We LOVE the chocolates…they have little squares of chocolate that are 75 cents and he adores picking one and paying for it himself.

We sit at the back and play Mancala which they have on all the tables. It is a fantastic place for a quiet time with your child, and the owner also said that lots of folks come over for date night.

Double check, but I’m pretty sure she told me people can bring wine and buy chocolate there and play games and make a quiet date of it.

We LOOOOOVE Chocolate Apothecary! My favorite find? I bought a Chocolate Bacon Candy Bar for my 20 year old son a while back. He thought it was great…I wasn’t too hot on the actual pieces of real bacon!

  2. OK, I didn’t even know these shops existed in HV! Jeff LOVES handmade chocolates and I always order them from somewhere on the internet for Christmas. Not this year! I’m going here!!
