Burbmom.net is thrilled to introduce you to an exciting team of artistic talent, blossoming right here in our ‘burb. Aimee Stratton and Ashley Rasmussen, both residents of Flower Mound, are combining their talents to provide custom murals to homes and businesses in the surrounding areas.

Aimee and Ashley have been friends since they met in the summer of 2006 and have always had a love of art in common. Like many stay at home moms, Aimee and Ashley's talents have been laying dormant for years as they have worked to raise their children. This summer (2008), they decided to paint a mural together in one of their own homes. They quickly discovered how well their artistic styles blended and complemented one another. They decided that this was a way to pursue their artistic passions without detracting too much time from their family lives. That is how Wallscapes, custom murals was born. I was thrilled to have these ladies work on my son’s bedroom.   He loves having Spiderman hanging from his ceiling.   Aimee & Ashley did a phenomenal job on the piece in my house.
