Pull on  your boots, even if they have never had an “working” day in their life, for this year’s All Western Parade!  A huge kickoff for the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, an annual event in Cowtown since 1896! What makes the All Western Parade unique is that nothing in the parade is motorized!  Horses, cattle and wagons fill the streets, and it’s a great opportunity to remind your kiddos what life use to be like, as my kid’s say “Back when we were young .”  (I love their sense of humor)! This year’s parade will be held on Saturday, January 19th at 11am in Downtown Fort Worth.  The parade route will start at the Tarrant County Courthouse, and runs down Commerce to 9th Street and back up Houston.  Bring your chairs or purchase preferred seating for the parade, a ticket which will also allow you free admission into the Stock Show anytime during it’s run from January 18th until February 9th.  Tickets must be purchased prior to the event, either from the ticket office at 817-877-2420, or from Ticketmaster.
