Kolache Factory website. You can also follow Kolache Factory Plano on Facebook.
The Kolache Factory takes kolaches to a whole new level. Their dough is soft and delicious and they wrap it around an incredible myriad of yummy foods like their breakfast kolaches of Sausage and Gravy or my personal favorite the Ranchero which includes ham, egg, cheese, and jalapeno.
These kolaches are like a really stuffed and they are definitely filling. I can eat this for a late breakfast or brunch and it keeps me full until dinner.
They also have some incredible stuffed croissants as well as cinnamon rolls and other sweet treats.
But the Kolache Factory isn’t just for breakfast. You have to try the Bar-B-Q Beef, Italian Chicken, or Philly Cheese Steak kolaches for lunch. They even offer special kolaches from time to time like the Turkey and Dressing kolache they offered during November and December.
The Kolache Factory’s new Plano location is already quite popular with both transplanted Houstonians as well as newly found kolache lovers. Try them for yourself. You’ll be hooked too!
I enjoy having kolaches for breakfast. They are often sold at donut shops and consists of a fruit pastry or a sausage rolled in dough (aka a “pig in a blanket”).
But after living in Houston for a few years I have to say that you haven’t really tried a kolache until you’ve been to the Kolache Factory.
We ate at the Kolache Factory regularly. You might even say we were addicted to it. We even experienced a sort of kolache withdrawal when we moved to the DFW area and couldn’t find a Kolache Factory.
But I’m so excited to let you know that the Kolache Factory has opened its first location in North Texas! I can’t wait for you to try these and let me know what you think.
