State Fair of Texas once again. This annual tradition is already on the calendar for many families. So here are some ways you can save money on your visit.
Purchase Advance Tickets at Kroger: Save a few dollars by picking up your tickets at Kroger. Kroger has single admission tickets for just $14.50. Or pick up a Season Pass is $34.95.
Kroger $2/Can Food Drive Wednesdays: Bring 3 cans of food for local food banks and get in every Wednesday for only$2.
McDonald’s: Next time you go to McDonald’s look for State Fair coupons in the tray liners or in your to-go bag and get $3 off general admission.
Any day after 5 pm: You can get in for only $8 when you bring an empty can of Dr Pepper. Or on Tuesdays, get in for $5 with an empty can.
Cinemark Free Thursday Admission: Bring a Cinemark Theater ticket stub and get free admission on Thursdays.
Seniors Day: Senior citizens (age 60 and over) may enter for free every Thursday during the State Fair of Texas.
Dickies Day: Thursday, October 11, 2012 ONLY! Anyone wearing a Dickies logo clothing item will receive a free voucher for admission to the Fair on same day.
KISS Fridays: Visit the
KISS-FM website and print off a coupon. It will get you admission for only $11 with the coupon.
