Numeroff has written many more whimsical books along the same lines such as

If You Give A Cat A Cupcake.
Laura Numeroff has also started a new book series called The Jellybeans which is about a group of girls who are friends but they are as colorful and different as a handful of jellybeans. There are several books in the series and Laura Numeroff will be at the Dallas Museum of Art on Friday to introduce everyone to the latest book,
The Jellybeans and the Big Art Adventure.
Laura Numeroff will be available to sign her books. She will sign up to two books that you bring in on your own as well as any books purchased at the DMA Museum store. The book sells for $16.95.
Upcoming BooksmART events include a Young Writers Workshop on Saturday, March 24, 1:00-4:00 p.m. for aspiring writers age 13-18, Marc Brown on Sunday, April 15, 3:00 p.m. and Judy Blume on Thursday, April 19, 7:00 p.m.
