The Lone Star Circus is in town this weekend appearing at the Rosewood Center for Family Arts. before the circus   My family and I were invited to attend last night’s SOLD OUT performance {from what I hear there are still tickets available for tonight, Saturday and Sunday}. We had been to the Dallas Children’s Theater before and were excited that the circus would be there.   In that venue, there are NO bad seats. We took our places in the open seating in the upper section and felt like we were right in the middle of the action.   During several of the performances, we were literally in the middle.   The clowns ran up and down the aisles on several occasions and one of the main rope displays came from the ceiling over mid-theater. I thought the clowns that weaved the performances together throughout the program were great.   They were funny and talented and the kids really liked them too. We saw flexible gymnasts, jugglers, very strong men, magician, dog tricks, people climbing ropes, people flying through the air on fabric ribbons, hula-hoops and overall amazing things. The talent involved was incredible. I don’t have any pictures that do it justice {Brandy from Not So Average Mama took some great pictures of the Lone Star Circus}, but here is a video that can help explain what all can be seen…
