Yesterday I told you a little about my friend Maile, today we are going to talk a little about her incredible Epiphanie camera bags…oh, and GIVE ONE AWAY.

Sorry for shouting.   I am really excited.

Maile created Epiphanie Bags.

I saw several people with them at Mom 2.0 and I ordered one last spring.   It took me hours of deliberation to decide which one to choose because they are all so beautiful.   I finally decided on the bag named Ginger.

I really like the squared styling, white stitching on the front pocket, and the flexibility of the neutral color.

Isn’t Ginger pretty?

I admit that I have never been a girl who spends a lot of money on bags.   One reason is that I hate carrying stuff.   When I HAVE to carry a bag I find that all the stuff I carry ends up in a purse contents salad at the bottom of the bag.   The bigger the bag, the bigger the salad.

And then I got my Epiphanie Bag

*insert choir of angels singing here*

Look!   Look!   Look!

Everything has a place.

See my wallet?

See my sunglasses?

See the shoulder strap?

It is so easy to reach into the bag and find stuff.   There is so much room that I haven’t even started filling the multitude of pockets on the outside.   In fact, I have started using my Epiphanie Bag even when I am not taking my camera.

*gasp*

I loved it so much that I started plotting which one I was going to buy next.

I didn’t want Ginger to be lonely.

When I saw Maile in Austin, she was kind enough to let me steal Lola (in red).

Isn’t Lola pretty?

I switch back between Lola and Ginger regularly.   I love that it has made taking my camera everywhere easy.

I only have one concern…

Do you think Lola and Ginger might be happier if Belle lived here too?

And now…

*drum roll*

I am giving away YOUR CHOICE of Epiphanie Bag.*

*Updated:   I GAVE one away from 2,610 entries…HOLY CRAP!

Congrats to the winner, Shana.

Another Update:   I just found out that Belle now comes in PINK.

A pink camera bag!

A pink Epiphanie camera bag.

Genius.

Thanks again Maile!

  1. As a mother of four kiddo’s, do you really want to know what is in the bottom of my purse? Okay… let me open it up.

Firstly, i’m greeted with something obscenely sticky – my guess is that it was either an opened jam packet from our luxurious trip down south to Grand Forks, North Dakota (my husband figured we’d need some jam packets from the in-hotel restaurant as emergency jam-packet back up) or some sort of dehydrated fruit that was re-hydrated by someone elses leaking sippy cup.

Further down, I’ve located four Hot Wheels cars, a tube of MAC lipglass from 1997, a pen – Sharpie in fact – one that no longer has ink in it – after it leaked all through the interior of my brand new leather bag. A change purse that contains more grocery receipts than change, a wallet containing zero dollars, but a maxed out credit card (groceries!), and my trusty pair of sunglasses.

    We’ve passed the mid-way point.

At the very bottom, i’m finding… coins that are stuck with half sucked-on peppermints, thanks to my 2 year old son, who doesn’t like them to “Go away” in his mouth, my Blackberry, gum wrappers, more pens, a day timer that has four dates filled in and the rest is scribbling and drawings of Mario, a pair of socks (?!!!!) that don’t belong to me, a juice box, four diapers in three sizes, a package of Bunny Grahams, opened and sprinkled into the bottom of my purse, and at the very bottom – a big old sharpie stain. :/

There is a solid reason why I don’t carry my Nikon D700 in my purse or any of my variety of lenses. It’s just too too, risky – and then, half of the time, I don’t carry my camera with me, because my camera bag is too big, too cumbersome and well, quite frankly, too ugly.

I would roll over and squeal, giggling on the floor to have a Lola Black bag. Or a Belle. They’re all so beautiful, but playing double duty (triple I suppose) as a diaper bag, camera bag, and purse… I’ve never seen anything prettier. <3

  2. OMG!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this purse!! I’ve stopped carrying one because of the “purse salad”, but this bag is gorgeous! This would not only store my camera but all my “mommy of 4” needs as well, making my life just a little bit easier ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I have eveything in my purse but the kitchen sink…well almost everything…mostly junk and tons of receipts..they are tax deductions you know….really love Belle…big roomy looking…gorgeous!!!!!!

  4. oohh!! I LOVE these Bags!! Hmmm.. on the bottom of my purse under some spare diapers, is usually my chapstick that I am always digging around for! Maybe if i had one of these with all the handy little pockets, I wouldn’t have to search all the time!
