So, I saw the commercial for the pocket chair…
Tired of standing around? Want to get off your feet? Oh those bulky folding chairs! How do you take a seat?
Thankfully, Adam Jay introduces us to the Pocket Chair.
The convenient and compact chair that folds up and fits right in your pocket!
I like to sit! I would like a chair that folds up and fits right into my pocket! I bought the pocket chair!

pocket chair

I took it out of the box and set it up. It unfolds and is re-enforced with a secured strap.   I was surprised that it was sturdy. It felt like it would NOT tip over. It felt like it would cut off circulation to my unfortunately exposed thigh. pocket chair with 5 year old sitting on it The seat is a strip of canvas that reminds me of a swing.   That part was mildly comfortable, but it is attached at both ends to part of the thin metal frame which dug into my hindside to a point where I just had to stand up. Not everyone in the family’s backside was too large for the seat. Rhett, who is 5, has claimed the pocket chair as his own.   He is not strong enough to fold and unfold it, but he carries it around wherever he goes. I even found him sleeping with it one night. He now calls it his chair. So, the Pocket Chair has a happy ending at my house. Oh, and for the big question… Does the chair REALLY fit in your pocket? You decide. pocket chair in pocketI have decided that anyone with a pocket BIG enough to accommodate the pocket chair, might have a behind too LARGE for it.

  1. What a funny little product….emphasis on little. I don’t think my bottom will fit in it at all.

Maybe good for my 4 yr old.

  2. This is hilarious! I have never seen the ad for that. Gald your 5-year-old liked it. I think my kids would, too. Not sure my thighs would enjoy it, though.

  3. Is that a chair in your pocket, or are you just happy to be blogging?

Sitting is one of my main hobbies, but I think I’ll stick to the couch!

  4. Hmmm – the one person you probably DON’T want sitting all the time fits it. I don’t know if that’s good or bad – the good thing is it means YOU don’t have to carry him all the time – he can sit while YOU stand!

Enter me in the contest – I WONT be buying the chair! LOL
