It rained
inspiring green.
It rained
melting leaves.
It rained
liquefying sidewalks.
It rained
encouraging budding depression.
It rained
magnifying yellow.
It rained
celebrating ferness.
It rained
cheering growth.
It rained
crushing exuberance.
It rained
animating puddles.

I love the rain theme. Wonderful photos!
This has to be one of my favorite posts ever. When I got to "sometimes a picture is not worth 1,000 words…" I started laughing loudly. And then reading that bit over & over & laughing more. And my husband said, "What? What? What?" so I made him read your post. And he laughed, too (very unusual that we both enjoy the same humor). Just delightful.
Great theme this week! Love the pictures you took to exemplify it!! Hooray for puddles!
Beautiful.
Is ferness a word?
I love this series. Gorgeous photos, and I love the whimsy of the reflection in the last one!
Gorgeous photo-journalism as always! It makes me look at rain in a whole new way.
I love these types of posts you do. The photos are always spectacular (you are a terrific photographer), but your words are perfect… and poetic.
“Animating puddles” is my favorite. Very nice!
I absolutely loved this. Thank you for making me smile today on this dreary rainy day.

Those are gorgeous!
Amazingly, we could use a little rain here in Seattle!
