In honor of the recent publication of
Grace & Gumption: The Cookbook, the
Fort Worth Museum of Science and History along with the
National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame has planned the event, “Signs of Good Taste: Stories and Samples From Grace & Gumption: The Cookbook” on Thursday, August 18th, 2011 at 6:00 pm. Â Enjoy an evening of scrumptious samples and sassy stories from some of the women who made Fort Worth what it is today. Â
Start your evening at the Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame where you’ll experience the No Glitz No Glory exhibit.  You will enjoy  samplings from the cookbook, wine, and mingling with some of the authors.  Then it's on to the Museum of Science and History to hear more from the authors  enjoy more delicious samples!
She Is Dallas Info: Grace & Gumption: The Cookbook is a companion piece to Grace & Gumption: Stories of Fort Worth Women. Tickets  for  this event are  $30 for Museum of Science and History and National Cowgirl Museum members; tickets for non-members are $35.   You can purchase tickets by calling 817-255-9531.  The event begins at 6:00 pm on August 18th at the Cowgirll Museum located at 1720 Gendy Street in Fort Worth.
Each ticket includes all presentations at both locations, complimentary wine and a selected appetizer from the cookbook at the Cowgirl Museum, and additional appetizers from the cookbook and refreshments at the Museum of Science and History. Include
Grace & Gumption: The Cookbook with your ticket purchase, or purchase one at either location when you arrive. (Hint: get a discount when you buy it in advance!)
