Join the Frontiers of Flight Museum at Dallas Love Field for “Moon Day 2011: A Celebration of Space Exploration”!
This fun family-friendly event will include everything fun and space related. Â You’ll even see 60 years worth of space-themed comic books – that’s about 200 comic books on display! Â There will be displays, art work, speakers, classes, movies, raffles, and door prizes – all to celebrate our progress and accomplishments in space exploration.
But that’s not all…the first 200 kids to land at Moon Day will get a free Lunar Sample Bags!

She Is Dallas Info: Â Moon Day 2011 will be held on July 16th, 2011 from 10:00 – 5:00 pm at the Frontiers of Flight Museum located at 6911 Lemmon Ave. on the Southeast side of Dallas Love Field. Â Admission to Moon Day is included with the regular museum admission price of Adults: $8, Seniors(65plus): $6, Youth/Students (3-17): $5, Children under 3 FREE! Moon Day 2011 is possible from the collaboration and participation from great organizations such as National Space Society of North Texas, Dallas Mars Society, the Museum of Nature and Science, UTD’s Center for Space Science, Fort Worth Astronomical Society, Astronaut Training Center, Solar System Ambassadors, Civil Air Patrol, UTA & UNT Planetariums, Brookhaven College, Texas Space Alliance, Space Miners, and the Lunar Library.
