Supplies Needed To Make a Simple Paper Penguin Origami
- 1 sheet of origami paper, preferably white on one side (if you don’t have black, use a dark blue, purple or any color you like!)
Easy Origami Penguin Instructions
Step 1
Fold the color side in half corner to corner, so the white side (or non-black side if you use another color) is on the outside.
Step 2
Open.
Step 3
Fold the bottom corner about a centimeter less than halfway.
Step 4
To form the wings: Turn over. From the top corner, fold the left corner a little more than half way towards the center.
Step 6
From the top corner, fold the right side corner a little more than half way towards the center.
Step 7
To make the head of the penguin, fold the top corner down.
Step 8
Raise the center crease up in a mountain fold, where the sides fold back flat.
Step 9
Pull the beak out, which will slightly open the head and body so your finished origami penguin can stand on its own!
Step 10
Your origami penguin is all done!
