The excitement surrounding Pumpkin Spice Season, aka fall, is palpable. The weather is starting to turn, we hope, apples and Halloween decor is beginning to pop out, and pumpkin flavored treats are heading into all of your favorite restaurants.
This year, Dairy Queen is adding a new pumpkin menu item to its offerings–the Dairy Queen Pumpkin Cookie Butter Shake. And we are totally on board with this plan.
This fall themed drink features Dairy Queen’s signature vanilla soft-serve and milk. The shake is then mixed with pumpkin and cookie butter. And, it’s not just any cookie butter–this cookie butter is made from ground cinnamon spice cookies!
The whole drink is then topped with whipped cream and ground nutmeg.
If that isn’t already the best news, Dairy Queen is also bringing back the Pumpkin Pie Blizzards this fall.
This seasonal favorite is a traditional blizzard, made with vanilla soft-serve. There are chunks of real pumpkin pie pieces inside, and the dessert is topped with whipped topping and nutmeg!
The seasonal treats roll out on August 31st this year, so mark your calendar to try them.
As with most Dairy Queen special editions, these fall themed desserts and sweets are only available for a limited time, so you’ll have to make sure to try them as soon as you can so you don’t miss them. We’ll be over here dreaming of pumpkins and sweater season until then.
