Are These Tiny Home Kits Really Worth It?

I’m sure you’re asking yourself whether a little prefabricated house is worth it. And, that is dependent on what you’re looking for. These are great for the off-grid types, for those who need an extra office, a mother-in-law suite, or just more room.

However, be aware that many of these come with the house. For electrical and water you generally do need to buy extra and hire someone to do that for you.

But if you were to put this tiny home kit on a concrete slab foundation, I think you’d be surprised at how sturdy these houses can be. And while it won’t necessarily be an easy assembly, you can customize your tiny home kits to make them suit you and your visitors. You can make them:

  • Energy Efficient
  • Add Insulation
  • Add to your Front Porch

There are so many different ways to make these tiny home kits your own.

    1. Hi, Bob! I’m not sure… The Amazon link is in the post, I would reach out to Amazon so they can give you more information!

    1. Hi, Daniel! Unfortunately I don’t have specs or answers to any of your questions. We did link to the product on Amazon on our post. I would contact them and ask!

  1. Easy there now people. This isn’t a bird house or baby crib. This DOES take some skills and proper tools. Its a full blown house in every way, not a “she-shed”. However, being all wood insideca, inside and out, 30K is a reasonable price; perhaps even inexpensive. Oh, and go with a metal roof please.

    1. Hi! The tiny house is linked in the post so you can see more info on it! I would contact Amazon to ask about installments. I know they have the Amazon card, but I think I also heard that they have a payment plan that breaks certain purchases into 4 payments. Please check with Amazon, though because I don’t want to misinform you!
