Is Eating Homemade Granola Healthy?
That depends! If you add a lot of sugar and brown sugar…no. But a little sweetness with fruit and nuts and oats, yes. But in moderation as even with fruit the calories and sugar can add up. But granola contains a lot of important nutrients and fiber that we need.
Why Is My Homemade Granola Not Crunchy?
If your homemade granola lacks crispiness then there are a couple issues that could be causing it. You didn’t spread your granola thinly enough on a baking sheet. You didn’t make it long enough at a low temperature. Or you used too much liquid sweetener.
How Many Days Does Homemade Granola Last?
If you store your homemade granola in an airtight container and away from moisture, it can stay fresh for about two or three weeks. Dried fruits like raisins and cranberries can last for months, however apricots and figs only last weeks. So keep this in mind.
