Personally, I believe the egg being that it’s almost round, gives the candy consistency and you know the old saying, “consistency is key!”. I totally think that applies here. It’s almost round, doesn’t contain ridges and fits perfectly in your hand. Oh and the best part? The egg contains more peanut butter than it’s candy cousins. 9 grams more than the cup to be exact. How do I know this? Well, this guy deconstructed all of the different Reese’s candies to find out how they ranked against each other using an X-Acto knife. Some may call him crazy, others call him passionate about his peanut butter and chocolate. Nonetheless, his study is worth checking out.View this post on InstagramChocolate and peanut butter > Whatever is inside your Easter egg. #NotSorry
I’ve always thought that the ridges on the original Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup gave it too much crunch and it didn’t pair well with the creamy middle. It always made me disappointed when I’d eat one. I like the soft, consistent bite I get when biting into a Reese’s Egg. I just don’t think it can get any better than that. And many people agree with me… Twitter users are particularly passionate about those Reese’s Eggs and I don’t blame them.
So, let’s settle this once for all, are Reese’s Eggs or Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups Better? This is my favorite time of year because the @reeses eggs are better than the cups?

Definitely the eggs and your have to eat them frozen!!
EGGS ALL THE WAY!!! However, the trees are a close second followed by the heart. I can’t stand the regular size cups or the minis!!! The ridges are horrible!! I look forward every year to the Easter season, so I can but eggs!!! I’m on my 3rd bag and it’s barely March!! Lol
They r better weird but true
Cups are definitely better!!
