Making homemade mac & cheese doesn’t have to be difficult either — this recipe is really easy to make and takes no time at all.

Creamy Mac & Cheese ingredients

Here’s what you’ll need to make this creamy mac & cheese.

  • 4 cups Elbow Macaroni
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons All-Purpose Flour
  • 3 1/2 – 4 cups Heavy Cream
  • Salt
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • 1 cup Italian Blend Cheese, shredded
  • 1-2 cups Fresh Spinach (optional)

Directions to make this creamy mac & cheese

Step 1

Cook pasta in salted water — follow instructions for al dente pasta (usually 6-7 minutes), drain and set aside

Step 2

In a skillet, melt butter and cook garlic for about 30 seconds

Step 3

Add flour and combine

Step 4

Whisk in heavy cream and season with a pinch of salt, a few turns of ground pepper and Italian Seasoning and mix

Step 5

Add cheese and combine

Step 6

Add cooked pasta and stir until well incorporated into the cheesy mixture

Step 7

Add 1-2 cups of spinach and mix

Step 8

Serve and enjoy! You can leave out the spinach or add other veggies to make it a complete meal
