Somewhere over the rainbow

We love all the colors in a rainbow, they bring smiles to our faces.  We had numerous colorful posts linked up last week in our weekly kids meme, It’s Playtime.  Todays post is inspired by Kate, of Picklebums.  She had fun with her kids and droppers full of paint.  They had fun creating blotted rainbows by dripping drops of watercolors, it’s an easy art project for kids.   In the last couple of weeks, there have been numerous other rainbow posts.

.

Colorful Pretend Cooking: I love how colorful Play Create and Explore was with her kids when they “cooked” with real foods.

Glow Stick Rainbows: Blog, Praises of a Wife and Mommy, mixed glow sticks with water beads and a light table to have bright colorful fun with her kids.

Rainbow Spaghetti: My kids love, LOVE, making a mess.  So do the kids at My Little Happies.  SHe has great ideas for messy playdates including a tub full of spaghetti!

Rainbow Sponge Painting: Jamie over at Hands on As We Grow had fun painting with sponges.  Cute!
