I love trying new restaurants.
It is kinda an obsession of mine.
When I found out that Zoes Kitchen already had 6 DFW locations and I hadn’t been to ANY of them, I thought that needed to be remedied ASAP.

So I headed to my closest location which happens to be in Alliance. Â A few years ago there wasn’t anything in Alliance. Â That is NOT the case now!
I love the clean, fresh and brightly colored look of Zoes Kitchen.  It is a “Mediterranean inspired grill” that features a selection of soup, salads, sandwiches of the classic, grilled and pita variety as well as entrees including roll-ups and kabobs.   They  make their own hummus which is a favorite of mine.  Prices range from $5.99 for their pick two (1/2 sandwich and soup or salad) to $9.95 for the shrimp kabobs.
Zoes does have a kids menu (quesadillas, chicken fingers and sandwiches) which is priced under $4 per meal.
They also offer several take-home options. Â The Dinners for Four are call ahead meals that you can feed the family in the evening. Â They are priced around $30 and include chicken kabobs, Greek Chicken Marinara and roll-up combo dinner. Â There are also a wide range of take home tubs which are side dishes, salads and the yummy hummus that are between $6.95 and $8.95 a pint.
It seems pretty easy to get in and out of Zoes in a reasonable amount of time. Â The employees that I ran into today were really friendly.
Oh, and did I mention the chocolate chip cookies? Â I might have taken one…or two…or five home. Â They are huge and gooey just the way a cookie should be. Â As much as I love a good cookie, next time I am trying the cake.
She is Dallas info:  Zoes Kitchen has Dallas locations at:  Lover’s Lane & Tollway, Preston & Royal, Snider Plaza and Plano.  Fort Worth locations include University and  Alliance (pictured above).  Zoes can be found on FB and Twitter.
They make their own hummus? I am in!
Love this place! We went to the one over on University by TCU. The Greek salad is a must try. And that chocolate cake was very tempting! 🙂
