I bought the Southwestern Style Chipotle Chicken Bake, Vermont White Cheddar Mac & Cheese, Scalloped Potatoes & Ham in a Creamy Cheese Sauce, and Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna.
I spread them out and the boys voted to try the Scalloped Potatoes & Ham first.
Lunch!
I prefer things heated in the oven so I placed the Marie Callenders frozen dinner in the oven.
An hour later lunch was served!
Yum.
It was so easy that I started planning dinner with the Three Meat and Four Cheese Lasagna.
Yum. Yum.
Both the Scalloped Potatoes and the Lasagna were very good. It reminded me of a home cooked meal (not made by me). The potatoes are buttery with a tiny bit of spicy kick. The lasagna sauce is delicious and not sweet like other frozen dinners I have eaten.
The portion size was good if it was just the boys and I eating together. I would need to add another dish if my husband was going to join us.
I guess I better admit that I also picked up a frozen Marie Callenders Key Lime Pie.
Yum. Yum. Yum.
I mean I needed to FULLY investigate all Marie Callenders has to offer in the frozen food section do a good job…
I was asked by The Motherhood to try Marie Callender’s new Baked Family Meals. They provided me with coupons to cover the cost of several of the baked meals and I received compensation for my time and energy.
It took a lot of energy to eat that pie.
All the opinions are my own. There are no left-overs in my fridge.
As you well know, I am not among America’s Top Chefs.
What I make doesn’t always end up described as “food”. Because of this, I am always on the look out for a short cut to dinner.
I was asked to try the new Marie Callenders Baked Meals. They are frozen dinners that serve 4 and can be heated in the microwave in less than 15 minutes of in the oven in about an hour.
Welcome to Kids Activities!
My name is Holly Homer & I am the Dallas mom of three boys…
YUMMY!
Yum.
yum.
And yum again. Now I need to add those to my list. I think I’ve got some coupons.
