What Is Palm Sunday
Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter that celebrates Jesus’s triumphal entry into the city of Jerusalem.
Jesus came riding in on a donkey and people laid down their cloaks and palm branches crying out “Hosanna”. You can read about this in Matthew 21:1-11, Mark 11:1-11, Luke 19:28-44, and John 12:12-19.
This also fulfilled the prophecy in Zechariah 9:9.
