Turkey Craft For Kids

My kids love fruit cups. And it is almost Thanksgiving so I wanted to find cute and fun ways to dress up their fruit cups and make them festive and fun. What better way to do that than to turn them into little turkeys.

Big kids and younger kids will both be able to do this Thanksgiving turkey craft. They’ll be able to explore colors and practice fine motor skills. So without further ado, let’s make these turkey craft fruit cups!

Supplies To Make These Fruit Cup Turkey Crafts

Orange Cup (or any favorite fruit cup)
Scissors
Glue
Acrylic Paint
Pencil
Paintbrushes

How To Put Together This Turkey Craft

Step 1

Trace a circle on brown construction paper and cut it out.

Step 2

Paint black circles for eyes. When it dries at white dogs for pupils and details. Fold orange construction paper in half and cut out a triangle and glue it on for a beak. Cut off a small piece of red paper and add it near the beak.

Step 3

Glue the head on the orange cup, you want to glue it on the part you tear off.

Step 4

Draw feathers on a green piece of construction paper. Cut it out and it on other colors. We made red, blue, purple, green, and yellow feathers.

Step 5

Turkey Craft- Step 4- Colorful strips of paper glued to oranges- Kids Activities Blog — Glue your paper feathers to the bottom of the cup.

Glue the feathers on the back of the fruit cup and let it dry. You’re done!
