If there is one children’s show that annoys me the most, it’s Peppa Pig.

Unfortunately for me, my daughter loves Peppa Pig. So much in fact, sometimes she talks like she has a British accent (no, I am not kidding). She’ll say, “Yes, mommy” and “No, mommy” like Peppa.

So, as soon as I saw this video going around of a mom sharing that her toddler son had developed a British accent from watching Peppa Pig, I knew I wasn’t going crazy ha!

Mom and speech pathologist @spinach4breakfast’s shared how her son developed a British accent after watching so much Peppa Pig during 2020 while she was pregnant with her second baby.

The video starts out with her children sitting on the couch watching TV with the caption:

“If you ever feel bad for letting your kids watch tv…”

And then goes on to share her son talking in a ‘legit British accent’ through a series of videos.

Seriously, I’ve watched this video about 10 times and I can’t stop laughing.

It’s just a friendly reminder that too much tv can certainly lead to unwanted Peppa Pig accents. Ha!
