Mattel, which are the makers of Barbie and American Girl, Released A New Gender Neutral Doll Collection. The new collection will be called ‘Creatable World’ and will feature dolls to include everyone! The Creatable World collection invites kids to create their own characters. Extensive wardrobe options, accessories and wigs allow kids to style the doll with short or long hair, or in a skirt, pants, or both. In a press release Mattel said:
“Toys are a reflection of culture and as the world continues to celebrate the positive impact of inclusivity, we felt it was time to create a doll line free of labels,” said Kim Culmone, Senior Vice President of Mattel Fashion Doll Design. “Through research, we heard that kids don’t want their toys dictated by gender norms. This line allows all kids to express themselves freely which is why it resonates so strongly with them. We’re hopeful Creatable World will encourage people to think more broadly about how all kids can benefit from doll play.”
The best part is, these dolls are available on Amazon right now! You can check out the different Creatable World Doll Collection below. If these are anything as popular as the Day of The Dead Barbie, these will sell out fast so grab them now while you can!

  1. Wow! And they speak about isis brain washing folk! How is this any different? There are 2 genders MALE or FEMALE, BOY or GIRL end of! Will everyone stop being so weird these days! Its just going to confuse kids

  2. This is fantastic. My children have been waiting for dolls like this and the early childhood of my oldest (Gender non-conforming, identifies as male) would have been so much simpler if he had examples in the toy world of the fact that he wasn’t “wrong” or “weird” instead of certain members of the family insisting that there can only be boys or girls. Now children can see examples of the world around them and understand that they’re not alone. Xxx

  3. Gender neutral dolls are the worst idea I’ve heard of.
Children need to be left out of the entire crazy notion of
Gender neutral insanity. I would never let my child have one of these dolls. There are two genders!

  4. I love this concept. It is nice that the toys won’t dictate the usual gender norms and allows the kids to express their ideas freely. I also like the shape of the dolls.
