Easy Baby Bok Choy Recipe
Here’s what you need to make this Easy Baby Bok Choy Recipe:
- 4 baby bok choy (plan on 1-2 full bok choy per person)
- zest from one small orange or clementine
- sea salt and pepper to taste
- avocado oil (or olive oil)Directions
Thoroughly wash the bok choy-including the inside portions and then gently pat dry.
Slice evenly in half and drizzle with a bit of avocado oil and dust with the sea salt and pepper. Let rest for a few minutes while you heat your pan. I used a large flat cast iron pan with a little more avocado oil spread across the surface.
When it is ready, zest a the citrus over the cut side of the bok choy and then place cut side down onto the skillet. Add a sprinkle of water and quickly cover all of the vegetables. This will help steam them and cook them more quickly.
Cook for about 2-3 minutes depending on the bok choy size and how hot your pan is. Carefully remove the bok choy with tongs and enjoy!
