She is Dallas launch

Many of you know that for several years I have been part of a local website for moms in Dallas-Fort Worth that I founded called Burb Mom. What you may not have known is that last fall I bought my partners out of the Burb Mom empire for an undisclosed amount of money and started working on a complete make-over. I love a good make-over. The make-over is so COMPLETE that it included changing the name, URL and dumping the mom-thing. I am a girl that doesn’t mess around! I am so excited that this week it went live and you can see what I have been up to behind the scenes.   It might even justify how little I have posted here for the last few weeks. ooooo…I just LOVE it. There are still some i’s to be dotted and t’s to be crossed, but it is there, functioning and lookin’ mighty pretty. She is Dallas will continue to tell stories written by women in the DFW metroplex.   Last year over 60 Dallas area bloggers contributed content to the website and hopefully more will want to do so in the future.   I love the Dallas blogging community that has been so gracious with their time, effort and most of all support. I also want to thank Shauna who was one of the partners that I bought out for an undisclosed amount of money.   Despite being free from the empire, she is not. She is never free from me. She is never free from my ideas. And once again, her website makin’ genius has made a site that I am proud to call mine. If you know of anyone in the Dallas area, please pass on the information.
