martha stewart entertaining

Well, holiday time has rolled around and this year we are hosting Thanksgiving dinner. *eeek!* I want to make it extra special for friends and family coming to celebrate with us but I’m just not creative when it comes to meal planning and setting the table just so.   Keep in mind that I cook to appeal to a 3 and 7 year old and I’m just happy when we can get through a meal with only one whining session and no milk spilled on the floor. So where does one turn for inspiration when it comes to planning the perfect celebration? Martha Stewart, of course! I picked her up new book, Martha’s Entertaining: A Year of Celebrations, which just hit the shelves.   While I won’t be planning a sophisticated cocktail party on a friend's yacht in New York Harbor any time soon, the book does offer some great recipes and wonderful ideas for celebrating throughout the year.     It’s hard to not to get inspired by the beautiful pictures in this book. Watch out!   I can feel my inner Martha starting to wake up!
