Tillamook. And just last month Tillamook went on the road in Texas to offer Texans a sample of this tasty cheese!
Watch this:
This road trip taken by Luke and Dale, two guys from Oregon was to learn more about Texas traditions. What they found out was that Texans love anyone who brings them cheese! And that Texans love Tillamook!
Did you know that Tillamook was over 100 years old? The Tillamook family is made up of nearly 110 dairy farms, many of whom are related to the early pioneers! And they still use the same cheddar cheese recipe that is now over 100 years old. And good news for vegetarians, most of their cheeses are made with a vegetable-based rennet that's kosher-certified, halal-certified, and vegetarian-friendly. And their varieties are endless. From Sharp Cheddar to Baby Swiss, Hot Habanero Jack to Pepper Jack, Tillamook has you covered! And you can get it in a block, slices or even shredded!
Today Tillamook can be found in stores from Portland, Oregon to Portland, Maine. You can find it in your favorite grocery store or can even order it online.
So the next time you host a wine and cheese party, try Tillamook cheese — you will be happy you did.
This post is sponsored by Tillamook! Tillamook uses only the highest quality milk from healthy cows not treated with artificial growth hormones. Herds primarily made up of Jerseys and Holsteins produce milk with just the right natural balance of protein and fat. Delivered fresh daily to the plant, all milk is tested to ensure strict quality standards before it's made into naturally aged cheddars every day of the year.
I love cheese! Texans love cheese! Actually I don’t know too many people who don’t! One cheese we can all agree offers something for everyone is Welcome to Kids Activities!

I went to a Tillamook blogger event earlier this year in Dallas! Here’s my *slightly* funny post that follow (okay so I think it’s pretty funny): http://screweduptexan.com/2012/02/tillamook-cheese-loaf-love-baby-loaf-tour-bus.html
