Spring means color for the
Container Store but in Arlington, spring means a brand new store! Arlington Highlands is opening it’s first
Container Store this Saturday, March 3rd. This is the 7th Container Store in North Texas. Did you know the first store opened in Dallas back in 1978– it’s hard to believe it’s already 34 years old.
I recently got a tour of this new 23,000 square foot store, located right across from Bed, Bath and Beyond and behind P.F. Changs at Matlock and I-20. This was also the first time I walked through the
Container store and saw just about
everything it offers — and WOW! I mentally made a list of everything I needed, or at least wanted. Especially with the color they are offering in the closet.

The Container Store is best known for it’s elfa closets — and all the accessories that go into it.
But did you know The Container Store has:
- Over 140 different Hanger Styles and Colors
- Over 700 Office Products
- Over 120 Food Storage Canisters
- Over 540 Products to Organize the Kitchen
- Over 170 Hooks
- Over 65 Bulletin Boards
- Over 80 Gift Wraps…..
So here are the details of this Grand Opening
The Container Store
Arlington Highlands (I-20 & Matlock)
March 3rd & 4th
Store opens at 9 am on Saturday
The first 100 people to
“check in” on The Container Store’s Facebook page, will get a Free $10 gift card! There will also be demonstrations on designing your own office Saturday and Sunday between 2 and 4 pm.
Happy Shopping!
