I love a good time wasting obsession… time wasting with Stop Motion Recorder for the iPhone app Not one that necessarily takes away from REAL time, but those minutes that you are going to waste anyway.     So, when I am sitting in carline, watching the boys drive around and around the house on various motorized vehicles or sitting in a waiting room of some form, I recommend:
  • Twitter
  • Words With Friends
  • Stop Motion Recorder
Stop Motion Recorder? Yes, my friends.   YOU too can turn those wasted moments into WASTED MOMENT GOLD to be saved for ever and ever on YouTube Amen. Stop Motion Recorder is an iPhone app.   I first saw it when my brother sent me a video he had done at *cough* work which he claimed took just a few minutes.   At that point I was still in iPhone 2008 mode without video capability.   But after witnessing what POWER the iPhone 4 had over time wasters, it was time for a new phone. Which I now have. I mean, the 99 cent app. was totally worth spending $300 on a new phone. Because I can now use Stop Motion Recorder. Anywhere. Anything. Awesome. Behold the power of the wasted moments:
Genius, eh?

  1. Holly,

Just a gentle ping to break some news. The namesake for your blog passed away this week. Barbara Billingsley (b.k.a. June Cleaver) died peacefully at home at the age of 94.

  2. Well since twitter and Words with friends are my current two favorite time wasters, I guess I’ll have to take your advice.

  3. OMG! I’m going to have to pray there will be a Droid version of this app soon. And add it to the reasons I am still annoyed with DH for switching us to Verizon one week before I was finally eligible for an iPhone with AT&T
