Marcos Saldana is a young teen in North Texas who loves pirates.
He’s a lot like other boys his age except that he fights a daily battle against Cystic Fibrosis, a disease that effects his lungs so significantly that he has to take breathing treatments multiple times every day. With this disease he may not live to see his 30s.
Marcos recently received notice that he is a candidate for a lung transplant so he now he waits.
Project Tea invites you to a delightful benefit tea event to help Marcos. The event will include a three course afternoon tea which includes scones with strawberry jam and almond spread, cucumber sandwiches, chicken salad sandwiches, pineapple cream cheese sandwiches on cinnamon bread, savory blue cheese and fig puffs, variety of breads and berries romanoff.
There will also be tea and chocolate pairings and tastings as well as a Tea Talk by Penny Ward From Affair of the Heart out of Houston on Etiquette and Manner. Guests will receive some awesome Swag Bags and they can enter to win the Hat Contest as well as many great door prizes. There is even a silent auction!
