Do NOT despair if you are here late. This is not an easy mission if you choose to accept it. The mission will end 6/19/08 at 1:00 AM CST. I will announce the winner next Friday. You are ineligible to play if I have shown these to you in real life!

Hints:
1) These items were hand made for me.
2) They were made by someone who met me through/reads my blog (Thanks Julie!).
3) They were inspired by this post.
4) I will use them on all future beaver trapping expeditions.
5) I will use them in a way that is different then the original intention.

Good luck! For tips on how to further fight the frump…go visit Fussy!

  1. Ok, I think these cute doodads are looking for their next home at the bottom of some cute jean capris. I think you are going to use them in Beaver trapping for by applying them to trees that are acceptable for the beavers to gnaw down.

  2. I think they were made for the top of your boots since Pa Ingalls had little tassle do-dads on his boots.

And what are you going to do with them? Make a garter and give the golfers a real show next time!

  3. They’re adhesives to keep your boobs from falling out of your top?

You’ll put them in your fruit bowl.

  4. i’m guess the decoratively adhesived fabric strips were to decorate your snake-fighting boots, but you are going to use them to entice beavers and racoons to enter your traps with these sparkly flashy things.

  5. I simply have no clue. And even if I did – I would have forgotten what it was by the time I read through all of those comments!!

  6. Well, everyone else is guessing fringe on the p.j’s or boots (which I would have guessed), so I’ll go with: To decorate the lamps in the beaver’s new home so they won’t be tempted to return to your creek.

  7. I completely suck at this kind of thing. In fact, I suck at all competition and would prefer to just back away slowly…..

Plus, it’s hard to believe this goes with the Beaver trap episode and not the pajama quandary… but that’s just me.

  8. Your pjs will become instant adorable capris with these, but will the sparkly dangly bits attract a flock of mad magpies to come try to steal them?

  9. Did you really induce to avoid a 13th? And, I’m guessing they go on the beaver traps. Or maybe on the minivan of death?
