Today is a challenge.
Your mission if you choose to accept it is to identify this:
Front–
Back–
Details–They are each 22 inches long and 3 inches wide. The white strip seen on the back can be peeled away to reveal adhesive.
I will be rewarding the first person who correctly leaves a comment
1) identifing the items in the picture
2) guessing how I am going to them
with a $20 Amazon.com gift certificate via email…
Do NOT despair if you are here late. This is not an easy mission if you choose to accept it. The mission will end 6/19/08 at 1:00 AM CST. I will announce the winner next Friday. You are ineligible to play if I have shown these to you in real life!
Hints:
1) These items were hand made for me.
2) They were made by someone who met me through/reads my blog (Thanks Julie!).
3) They were inspired by this post.
4) I will use them on all future beaver trapping expeditions.
5) I will use them in a way that is different then the original intention.
Good luck! For tips on how to further fight the frump…go visit Fussy!
I think that they are snake traps for evil snakes that will do terrible things (like scare) Holly.
(Just like the beaver traps were intended to get rid of the non-busy evil beavers).
I think you should use them on future beaver trapping expeditions (just like PA) to further decorate your beaver (trap checking clothes).
Those are some pretty fancy fake eyelashes you got there…
Okay, I’ll try again.
They originally were made to hang from the front of your windshield, along with a statue of the Virgin Mary… Okay, I’m pretty sure it isn’t that (but let me know if I was close.)
Real guess:
They are supposed to be used on a lamp shade that will ‘dress up’ a couple of dull-looking shades.
-However-
You will use them as a ‘rattle’ like device to scare away, or commune with, other rattle snakes.
– Or –
They will be used as bookmarks instead. Eyebrow removers? Beer coozies?
I think I should just give up. :p
Your going to apply them to any snakes you find in the swamp so that they are cuter and not so frightening.
Right?
decorative collars for the beavers you catch. when they are released else where and return, you’ll know by their cute fringe collars!
Those are too cute. i think they look like they’d go on the hem of your pants. You’ll probably do something super cute and totally different with them though.
HI HI HI!!!
My Brain is all fraggled from reading all the comments.I still have absolutely no idea even with your Helpful Hint…So I am guessing that you are going to attach these pretty sparkly shiny strips to the bottom of the trees. Then the Beavers will be so bedazzled that they just don’t want to chomp Holly’s trees…
