Here is your opportunity to meet the ‘dairy divas’ & ‘divas in training’, see where they milk the goats and make the cheese. You can even pet the goats!
During the open house there will be a ˜mini-market ™ where you can buy locally produced items. This is a special opportunity because these items are only available for sale during the open house. You’ll find Baked goods, Hand-made tamales, Farm fresh eggs (while they last), Goat milk soaps & of course AWARD WINNING goat cheese, goat milk…and more!
They also have “scoop your own” NANNY BERRY organic compost (yes the girls produce more than just milk!). Composted hay, straw and ‘nanny berries’ from the ‘dairy divas’ is only $5 a barrel. Be sure to bring your own barrel or trashcan with a TIGHT lid. Put a little of this on you plants and watch them GROW !
Latte Da Dairy is owned and operated by Anne & Johnny Jones. They are raising American Dairy Goat Association (
ADGA) registered Nubian (all ears) and La Mancha (no ears) dairy goats which are beautiful and highly productive. They produce award winning Goat Cheeses. The cheese can be found at all four DFW Central Market locations,
Cowtown Farmer’s Market in Fort Worth, and the
Keller Farmer’s Market.
