Do your kids still like to move it move it to the sounds from the Madagascar movies? The adorable film trilogy, featuring animals living at the Central Park Zoo who decide to escape the zoo to explore the world, was a favorite when my kids were younger.
For the first time in several years, the animals are back! And this time, they are kids. The first 6 episodes of a new series, Madagascar: A Little Wild, have just been released for your kids to enjoy.
The series takes us back to when Alex the Lion was just a young cub, enjoying his days in the zoo. His friends, Marty the zebra, Melman the giraffe, and Gloria the hippo, are all there too, enjoying their childhoods together, in a rescue habitat in Central Park.
Produced by Dreamworks, “Madagascar: A Little Wild finds Marty, Alex, Gloria, and Melman as young and adorable residents of A Little Wild, a rescue habitat at the Central Park Zoo. They might be small, but like everybody who lands in New York, these guys have big dreams.”
Madagascar: A Little Wild is now streaming on Hulu and Peacock.
Six episodes have been released so far, with new songs too. The new episodes also touch on issues like friendship, acceptance, diversity, and more, to help share life lessons with preschoolers.
